Whether you’re skiing, traveling abroad, headed somewhere to escape the cold or going to a major metropolitan area for a shopping excursion, take advantage of your reciprocating Club privileges! Being a member of the Des Moines Embassy Club means you have access to more than 180 clubs in the USA and 50 international clubs. Some clubs even offer overnight accommodations, private dining and meeting rooms, as well as first class dining and lounge facilities. DMEC members have appreciated their reciprocating Club privileges in cities as close as Chicago and as far away as countries such as Malaysia.
Visiting a reciprocal club is easy. Simply contact the Club team with your destination and we will contact the staff at the club of your choice to let them know the dates you will be visiting. You can then call that Club directly and make your reservations.
For the requisite letter of introduction (mentioning your name, member number, your good standing at The Des Moines Embassy Club, dates of travel, and requesting that you be extended all the privileges and courtesies of a member per our reciprocal club agreement), please call/email Terry Peterson or Doug Crain.
Many members use their reciprocal club privileges when going to Chicago for a sporting, holiday or shopping weekend. The Mid America Club in Chicago is just one Chicago club members can enjoy.
