Each has established a reputation for bringing refreshing, broadminded approaches to traditional favorites and contemporary dishes alike. From fine dining to bistro-style cooking, to hearty regional fare and nouvelle cuisine, the Des Moines Embassy Club executive chefs daily showcase how refined modern cooking techniques can, and do, merge with traditional, seasonal, and local ingredients to deliver meals that are truly inspiring.
Each year, The Des Moines Embassy Club plays host to chefs from across the globe, including an annual visit from a group of French chefs from the L’Association de Maitre Cuisniers de Loire. During their two week stay, the visiting chefs exchange ideas with the Club’s own award-winning team, teach and demonstrate preparation techniques, and present an exquisite series of dining opportunities for members to enjoy. This is just one example of how the DMEC culinary team continues to explore new ways to the delight the palates of our members.
