Des Moines Embassy Club
In 2002, two long-standing Des Moines area hospitality institutions merged—The Des Moines Club located atop the Ruan Building and The Embassy Club located atop 801 Grand. Both Clubs brought rich histories and traditions to the merger. Combined they had 150 years invested in serving the Des Moines community. Today, the Des Moines Embassy Club, a single club with two locations, serves over 1,200 members—consistently delivering fine dining, panoramic views and social and networking opportunities that are unmatched.

The Embassy Club West is located at the Village of Ponderosa in West Des Moines at 520 Market Street. The Club features contemporary cuisine with signature salads, entrees, and desserts as well as dinner drinks and coffees prepared table side. The Embassy West also offers less formal dining in the lounge and at the joiners table. 

The Des Moines Club is located on the 33rd/34th Floors of the Ruan Building at 666 Grand. Traditional fine dining is offered in the elegant Crystal Room. There is also less formal dining in the Metropolitan Grill and Library Bar. Six private dining rooms are located on the 33rd floor.
